报告题目:Single Atomic Site Heterogeneous Electrocatalysts: from Fundamentals to Materials Synthesis and Device Fabrication

报告摘要 :This talk will be split into three parts. The first part gives a brief introduction on fundamental reaction mechanisms for various kinds of electrocatalytic reactions, such as HER, OER, ORR, NRR and CO2RR. A specific example will be given on the use of first-principles density functional calculations and machine learning in the search of efficient OER/ORR bifunctional catalysts supported by C2N monolayer. The second part introduces some general strategies on the materials synthesis routes to the single atom site catalysts. Our recent work on the graphitization of carbon matrix and stabilization of single atom nickel catalyst will be given as an example. The third part focuses on the recent progress on the design of the reactor architectures and system engineering of CO2 reduction reaction.
报告人简介:黄海涛博士,香港理工大学应用物理系教授。长期从事电介质材料和新型低维纳米结构新能源材料的制备、性能表征及物理机制研究。至今发表包括Nature,Nature Photonics,Nature Communications, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Energy & Environment Science, Advanced Materials, Joule和Chem等国际著名学术期刊论文280多篇。根据斯坦福大学2020年统计,位列全球前2%顶尖科学家(World’s Top 2% Most-Cited Scientists)。与“集成铁电之父”J.F.Scott教授联合编著《Ferroelectric Materials for Energy Applications》一书。曾荣获国土资源部科学技术二等奖(2017)和教育部高等学校科研优秀成果自然科学二等奖(2019年)。现任国际学术期刊Advanced Materials and Devices副主编并为多个SCI期刊的国际编委。于2019年当选国际电化学能源科学院(IAOEES)理事。
